Here is the tatted piece I finally finished last night.
I'm working on finishing all the motifs in Jon Yusoff's book called 'Elegant Tatting Gems. This one is called 'firus'. I used Lizbeth size 40 called Spice Cake. I don't know why I had so much trouble with this one, and then finally, I just did it. The top of the flower stands away from the piece. It sure is different, and nice to.

The level of detail on this design is incredible, you can tell so much love went into it.
