No.....20 (a, b, and c)

This is a pattern by Samantha Melnychuk 2000.   After I had already started the last row, I noticed that she had forgot to include a bead in the pattern.   No... I wasn't going to take it apart for that, but I will definitely make this pattern again.  I used Lizbeth size 20 #376.  There should be another bead at the base of the last ring.

I made this one again....this time I added the bead, but I forgot to make the ring...!!!   It looks different, and I like it, so it will just be pattern #2 for this one.  I'm still going to try and make it right yet...not while watching TV though....it looks like a finer thread, but it isn't...it's just my picture taking.

Motif #3...finally, this one is according to the pattern that I used...the last row has a ring, and another bead added.   Actually, I like them all....oh, there is another one that I did, but instead of starting with 8 rings, I used 9.  I gave it to a friend of mine, and she like it better because the beads in the center aren't as close to each other.  I guess maybe I should ask her to take a picture of it for me......

I just discovered that I missed one...!    I tatted another Motif from Jon Jusoff's book 'Elegant Tatting Gems'. This one is called 'kencana'. I again used Lizbeth thread size 20 #637 Country Grape Med. Still more from her book to make...

No.....18

Another motif designed by Jon Jusoff.   This one is called 'adiratna'.  This time I did it in size 40 Lizbeth thread #694. Needed a change,  and I like using a finer thread.   I also wanted to throw a different color in there for a change...

No. 16...

Just finished 'nilam' which is the name of another motif from Jon Yusoff's book "Elegant Tatting Gems".   I used Lizbeth size 20 Magenta, drk. #618.    This one finished measures 4.75 inches across.

I found this one easier to follow, and finish...

No. 15....

Finished another snowflake (motif), from Jon Yusoff's book called "Elegant Tatting Gems". This one is called 'mustika'. I did it in Lizbeth size 20 #637 called Country Grape, Med.

When doing these one really needs to look ahead at where the first join is going to be when coming to the end.   I had to take apart almost a whole section because the first join was at the very bottom  of the first section.

Decided to do another motif from Jon Yusoff's book called 'Elegant Tatting Gems'.  This one is titled 'ratnasari'.  I did it in a solid color this time.  Lizbeth size 20, Magenta, drk #618.  I also really like this one, and I didn't have to think quite as hard with this one.

No. 11...

The one is from Jon Yusoff's new book called "Elegant Tatting Gems".    I found all of them so elegant, but my eye caught strongly on 'ratnawilis' to be my first one.    I used Lizbeth #20, thread #140 called Country Grape Swirl.  I like making the larger rings around the outside.   Found them to be a very clever idea.  I want to remake this one using a solid color.

No....10

This was a free pattern.  I don't know if this link is still available, but here is where I had gotten it from.
http://birgitstatting.blogspot.com/search/label/button  I use Lizbeth size 20.  Just to show you how it looks in different colors.  In the original picture, I had no pattern count with this one, I had the head smaller, so I increased it a bit.  I then liked it better.  I also think she came out with the pattern and a count on it later, but I don't have that, sorry!

No. 9....

A Tatted bookmark from Karey Solomon's book 'Tatting with Buttons'.  I still would like to see a tail on this one, but I have to figure something out yet without ruining the looks of the finish.

NO. 8....

I just picked these up from the internet.  Then I wanted to do some on my own or from my book  My friends just love them.  I came home empty handed and now I start over...

No. 7...

This pattern came from L. Trumble, This 'n' Tat.  I used Lizbeth size 20, called Linen - Med.  I don't know what it was, but when I saw this one, I just had to tat it.  I spayed a button gold, but it just didn't match up with the thread.

No. 6....

I was busy tatting while on vacation, so I could give my friends a little gift before I left.  They all got two for there refrigerators.  I had put magnets on the back.
This was the second one that I designed myself.  Good thing I had a place close by to buy buttons.

No. 5....

This was actually the second one that I had made.  Another one from the Karey Solomon book, 'Tatting with Buttons'.  January 23rd, 2013.

No. 4...

Just had to put this one to.  I actually designed this one myself, but in the end, I felt like there was something missing....you judge it!  I made this one while on vacation, and didn't stiffen it or anything.  I gave it away to a friend of mine.  Some of her walls are red...

No. 3...

I should have started with these first.  They were the first ones I had made and I made a mistake on the first one, so I did it over.  These are also from the book 'Tatting with Buttons' by Karey Solomon.   Used Lizbeth thread size 20.

No. 2....

Here is another sample of my tatting with buttons.   This pattern is from Debi Pennington.  I used Lizbeth Size 40, #127 Butterfly Breeze.

No. 1...

I have started tatting with buttons, and have quite a few to show you.  I used HDT which I got from http://www.etsy.com/shop/yarnplayer .    Made using size 40 thread.  The pattern is from  "Tatting with Buttons" by Karey Solomon.  I turned this one into a necklace, and got a lot of compliments on it.
