No. 15....

Finished another snowflake (motif), from Jon Yusoff's book called "Elegant Tatting Gems". This one is called 'mustika'. I did it in Lizbeth size 20 #637 called Country Grape, Med.

When doing these one really needs to look ahead at where the first join is going to be when coming to the end.   I had to take apart almost a whole section because the first join was at the very bottom  of the first section.

No. 13....

Decided to do another motif from Jon Yusoff's book called 'Elegant Tatting Gems'.  This one is titled 'ratnasari'.  I did it in a solid color this time.  Lizbeth size 20, Magenta, drk #618.  I also really like this one, and I didn't have to think quite as hard with this one.

No. 11...

The one is from Jon Yusoff's new book called "Elegant Tatting Gems".    I found all of them so elegant, but my eye caught strongly on 'ratnawilis' to be my first one.    I used Lizbeth #20, thread #140 called Country Grape Swirl.  I like making the larger rings around the outside.   Found them to be a very clever idea.  I want to remake this one using a solid color.
