Motif #21

I couldn't sleep, so guess what I did....This is Egg No. 12 in the "TATTED Easter Eggs" book by Kirsten Wind Hansen.    My picots are probably not even, but I tried using the picot sizer, but for this many, forget it!   Lizbeth thread size 20 in No. 631 called Country Purple Lt.  The book said to make the picots in 4mm size.  According to my metrics book that would only be .16 of an inch!  They did not look that small in the book.....I do feel that these are a bit to big, but it does depend where you looking...ha, ha!

Thanks, thanks and thanks again. I've only progressed in the last 3 weeks to things I haven't done ever before. I need to do things a second time, but to soon to Easter to do it now.
Happy Easter everyone...!

Hi Barbara, i am just doing this one and need your help! the outer row is that just chain stitch like she describes with no extra thread involved? If so how did you finish???

Tatskool, I went to your blog to send you an email, but it wouldn't work for me. Anyway, yes, it's just a single crochet stitch, however, mine is not completely right. If you look in the book you will see that each picot looks twisted, but mine aren't. That is why I put in a bid for this 'Anna' magazine, because it had this in it...however, it's in German! Something I still have to figure out....good luck!
