No. 11...

The one is from Jon Yusoff's new book called "Elegant Tatting Gems".    I found all of them so elegant, but my eye caught strongly on 'ratnawilis' to be my first one.    I used Lizbeth #20, thread #140 called Country Grape Swirl.  I like making the larger rings around the outside.   Found them to be a very clever idea.  I want to remake this one using a solid color.

Very pretty motif. I think a solid color would highlight the beauty of the pattern even more.(Although I love working with variegated threads also).

I do agree with you mb duke. I have started another one again using the variegated thread, but I don't know yet I'm going to use them for so until I decide I don't want to waist my solid thread. I like the richness of the solid thread like she uses in her book.

Barbara, I'm doing Jon's patterns from this book too, and this was also the first one I made!
